In an interview with People while promoting his film Night School, Hart shared that he holds a deep, enduring love for his father, regardless of the hardships they faced.

Recognizing his father’s struggles with аddiction, Hart expressed his commitment to a positive outlook and unconditional love for him.

Having previously recounted his father’s absence in his memoir I Can’t Make This Up, Hart now views forgiveness as essential, believing that everyone makes mistakes and no one is flawless.

For Hart, the past holds no power over him; he’s focused on the future and cherishing the time they have now.

Reflecting on his ability to provide for his father today, Hart appreciates the blessing of being able to offer him a better life and the chance to bond with his grandchildren.

Now, as a father himself, Hart emphasizes that meaningful time spent together is what truly builds strong connections with family.
