Kendrick Lamar and Drake, both aged 37, engaged in a heated exchange in May with multiple diss tracks.
Jeopardy! viewers found entertainment in Ken’s question, dubbing it ‘the best in years.’
Kendrick seemed to take offense, expressing his views in an uncredited verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s track “Like That,” released on March 26. In the song, he took several lyrical shots at both Drake and J Cole, prominently rapping, ‘Motherfk the big three, n*a, it’s just big me.’
Drake responded with the Kendrick diss track “Push Ups” in April, mocking the rapper’s small feet in the promotional art featuring a size 7 shoe tag. He further attacked Kendrick in “Taylor Made Freestyle,” using AI-generated voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg, leading to a cease and desist from Tupac’s estate.
Kendrick retaliated with “Euphoria” at the end of April, a six-minute diss track targeting his rival. The feud intensified in May when Kendrick released “6:16 in LA,” parodying Drake’s well-known timestamp songs like “4 PM in Calabasas” from 2013 and last year’s “8 AM in Charlotte.”
During a recent episode of Jeopardy!, contestant Isaac Hirsch correctly answered Ken’s clue.
Drake continued the ongoing feud with “Family Matters,” responding to “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA.” Kendrick swiftly countered with “Meet the Grahams,” his third diss track within a week, where he implied Drake has a sеcrеt daughter.
Days later, Kendrick escalated matters further with “Not Like Us,” where he appeared to accuse Drake of inappropriate behavior, including allegations involving minors, depicted with provocative imagery on YouTube.
In his lyrics, the Pulitzer Prize winner confronted Drake and members of his October’s Very Own (OVO) crew, cautioning others to ‘hide your little sister from him.’
