Jennifer Lopez will release her new song “Dinero” along with its music video on Thursday. At the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night, the 48-year-old singer performed the song, i𝚗itially appearing in a loose-fitting white suit reminiscent of Chita Rivera’s style in Broadway’s “Kiss Of The Spider-Woman.” She later changed into a glittering off-the-shoulder top that showcased her toned figure, accessorized with a white indented-crown hat featuring a black ribbon, black leather gloves with sparkling bracelets, and a jeweled belt. Her ensemble included a white smoking jacket and vest, complemented by a white tie and glistening drop earrings. Lopez emphasized her glamorous look with bold makeup, including scarlet lipstick, contrasting against her black and white attire.
Throughout her performance, Lopez was accompanied by backup dancers dressed in striped grey dress shirts, black ties, slacks, and suspenders. She made a drаmаtic entrance as she was lifted into the air by her dancers, shedding layers of her outfit to rеveal the off-the-shoulder top and slicked-back ponytail. The dancers, sporting olive-green indented-crown hats with feathers, also posed backstage with Lopez. Additionally, Lopez shared a preview clip of the “Dinero” music video featuring guest stars DJ Khaled and Cardi B, where she was seen dancing energetically in a glittering jersey and a New York Yankees baseball cap, a nod to her New York roots and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez’s former team.
Regarding the Billboard Music Awards nominations, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, and Bruno Mars led with multiple nominations, competing for categories like Best Artist and Top Male Artist. Beyonce, despite not being nominated for Top Female Artist, was in contention for Top R&B Artist alongside SZA and Rihanna. The ceremony, hosted by Kelly Clarkson, also featured performances from artists like Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes, BTS, Demi Lovato, and Christina Aguilera.
