Ben Affleck was seen wearing his wedding ring as he headed to lunch in LA on Friday, following a 4th of July spent without his reportedly estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez.
The 51-year-old actor, rumored to have been separated from the 54-year-old singer for months, appeared strained as he stepped out, still wearing his wedding band.
The star kept his look casual with a white t-shirt, plaid shirt, jeans, and sneakers, a day after Lopez was seen looking somber in the Hamptons.
Ben appeared pensive while chatting with a companion after celebrating the holiday with his children.
Lopez, meanwhile, looked downcast during her vacation on the East Coast with her manager, Benny Medina.
She landed in New York City on Monday, following a report that claimed her marriage to Affleck has been ‘over for months.’
An insider told Page Six that the couple, who haven’t been seen together in a month, have been apart since March.
The duo, who have not been publicly spotted together in nearly a month, have been the subject of split rumors for months and are reportedly ‘on the verge of divorce.’
Despite their marital issues, a source added that Affleck remаins ‘very protective of Jennifer.’
Reports on Monday suggested the couple is selling artwork from their $60 million mansion in Bel-Air, California, which was listed for $65 million last month.
It seems that some valuable items from the 12-bedroom ‘Wallingford estate’ are also being sold off.
Page Six reported that paintings and other items were sold to collectors in early June.
The last time the couple was seen together in public was on June 2, when they shared an awkward cheek kiss at Affleck’s son Samuel’s basketball game in Los Angeles.
This followed reports from People that Affleck had moved the last of his belongings from their home while Jennifer was vacationing in Italy last month.
The stars are no longer living together; Lopez resides in their $60 million Bel Air mansion, while Affleck stays at his $100,000-per-month rental near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Affleck and Garner share three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
A source stated that Affleck continues to live at the Brentwood rental.
Affleck has been maintaining his daily routine amid persistent divorce rumors and has reportedly been staying at the rental for about two months now. He is focused on work and spending time with his kids.
Meanwhile, Jennifer appears to be enjoying some summer fun, having been seen in Paris and Italy with friends.
The couple remаins in contact due to their professional ties: Lopez is set to star in two upcoming movies produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company, Unstoppable and Kiss Of The Spider Woman.

Amid rumors about the state of their marriage, an industry insider has claimed that Lopez has reached her limit and feels she can’t do any more to save the relationship.
