Drake has recently made a significant change to his hairstyle.
Known for his iconic shaved head or occasionally braids, the 36-year-old Hotline Bling artist debuted a new look after his concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The braids that adorned his hair earlier, when he gifted a fan a $35,000 pink Hermès Birkin bag, were gone.
Instead, the God’s Plan singer sported a short afro as he left The Birds nightclub in West Hollywood in the early hours of the morning. The One Dance star donned a patchwork denim shirt over a white T-shirt, paired with camouflage pants and tan boots.
Earlier that night, Drake surprised a fan in the front row of his Kia Forum show with a $35,000 Hermès Birkin bag.
He walked around the stage holding the luxury handbag, announcing to the crowd, “Drake ain’t cheap,” before choosing a lucky fan to receive the bag.
After handing over the bag, the generous artist made sure to sаy, “Make sure she has security on the way out.”
In a 2017 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Drake shared that he has been collecting Birkin bags for years for ‘the woman I end up with.’
A 2020 Architectural Digest feature revealed that he stores the pricey handbags on shelves in a two-story closet.
The Degrassi alum has been romantically linked to stars like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Fox, Kat Dennings, Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, and more.
Drake just wrapped up his four shows in Los Angeles and is heading to San Francisco for the next stops on his “It’s All a Blur” tour.
He performed the first show at the Kia Forum on Saturday, despite production issues that nearly led to its cancellation.
Drake explained to the audience that production challenges almost caused the show to be canceled, but he insisted his team find a solution to avoid disappointing the full crowd.
He mentioned that a similar issue in Memphis forced a show cancellation, but this time, they managed to make it work.
Drake’s performance schedule continued with a Wednesday night concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood.
As shown on his social media, the show was attended by his five-year-old son Adonis, whom he shares with French ex-pоrn star Sophie Brussaux.
In a touching picture he shared on his Insta Stories, Drake was seen playfully carrying his son over his shoulder, likely backstage.
After sharing numerous onstage photos, Drake also posted a heartwarming video of Adonis, still exhilarated from the concert.
Adonis was happily running around their hotel suite, repeatedly singing Drake and 21 Sаvаge’s song Rich Flex.
“Comes to one Drake show…” Drake wrote affectionately over a video of Adonis joyfully bouncing on the furniture while singing.
Later, Drake appeared on his Insta Stories with his hair styled in playful pigtails, held up with bubblegum pink clips.
