Ben Affleck was seen visiting his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, at her Los Angeles home on Sunday amid rumors of marital issues with his wife, Jennifer Lopez. The 51-year-old Oscar winner, who recently moved his belongings out of the $60 million mansion he shares with the “On The Floor” singer, 54, was spotted arriving in a sleek vehicle, carrying a book and a can of Diet Coke.
Dressed casually in denim jeans and a short-sleeved, printed gray shirt with “Speed Motors Unlimited” on the front, Affleck completed his look with Nike sneakers. Garner was also seen out and about, keeping it casual in black leggings and a short-sleeved blue shirt after a coffee run. The “13 Going on 30” actress paired her outfit with white sneakers and stylish sunglasses, her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
Affleck and Garner, who were married from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018, have three children together: Violet, 18, Finn (formerly known as Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12. Affleck’s visit comes amid rumors of a split between him and Lopez, with reports suggesting that the couple is living separately. Lopez resides in their $60 million mansion, while Affleck stays in a $100k-a-month rental in Brentwood. Sources told People that Affleck has been living in the rental for about two months, focusing on work and spending time with his kids.
Lopez recently returned to the U.S. after a solo trip to Italy, where she was seen enjoying time with friends on a boat in Positano. She also attended Paris Fashion Week, showcasing a tan one-shoulder dress with gold heels at the Dior Haute Couture show. On Saturday, Lopez was spotted having lunch with her child Emme, 16, in Beverly Hills without Affleck.
Amid the divorce rumors, the couple has listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $65 million. Despite their reported marital issues, they remain in contact and have business ties, with Lopez set to star in two films produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s company, “Unstoppable” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
A source recently told DailyMail.com that Lopez is “over” trying to make her marriage with Affleck work, claiming that she feels she can do no more to save the relationship. According to the insider, Lopez is tired of Affleck’s grumpy demeanor and is focusing on herself and her children, Max and Emme. Lopez plans to resume her “This Is Me… Live” tour in the summer of 2025, after canceling the 2024 tour to regroup.
Lopez, reportedly shocked by the negɑtive press she’s received, is also planning new projects, including a Netflix adaptation of Emily Henry’s novel “Happy Place.” Deadline reports that the adaptation will be produced by Lopez’s company Nuyorican, with plans for a series already in motion.
