During an appearance on the BBC podcast Miss Me?, hosted by Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver, Billie shared, ‘Well, I lost all of my friends when I got famous. I sᴜddenly was famous, and I couldn’t relate to anybody. It was tough. Despite this challenging period, Billie still maintains a close relationship with her best friend, Zoe, and some of her staff members who have become friends.

She added: 'And then it was my 20th birthday and I remember looking around the room and it was only people that I employ. And all 15 years or more older than me' (seen are snaps from the party)

Reflecting on her 20th birthday celebration, Billie revealed that most of the attendees were her employees, with everyone being significantly older than her. She also recounted the difficult experience of one employee quitting and cutting off contact with her, which made her realize the professional aspect of their relationship.
