In a video circulating online, the singer commented on the presence of these influencers while talking with Kylie Minogue at the event. Billie, 22, said to Kylie, 55, “I’m like, there’s some… TikTokers here.” She seemed to cover her mouth while mentioning TikTokers, as if to avoid being overheard, and then gestured towards something behind her.

Fans took her comments as an expression of disapproval about the attendance of TiƙTоk stars at the awards show. Some agreed with her sentiment, with one fan saying, “Billie shading the plague of the internet makes me like her even more.” Another quipped, “There are actually some talented TikTokers, but idk why they invite the bad ones.” Others commented that TikTokers shouldn’t be at award shows because “they cheapen them.”

Billie Eilish won the TV Performance of the Year award for her role as the cult leader Eva in the Prime Video miniseries Swarm.
