Billie Eilish was seen working out in Los Angeles on Tuesday, dressed in all black, just one week after her unеxpеcted split from boyfriend Jesse Rutherford.

The 21-year-old pop star wore a black jacket, leggings, and high-top Converse sneakers for her gym session. This workout came shortly after her seven-month relationship with Rutherford, 31, ended.

A statement released by Billie’s team confirmed the split, stating that it was amicable and that she and Rutherford remain good friends. A spokesperson for Billie said: “We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends.” The couple was last seen together at Coachella in April, and they first sparked rumors when a fan spotted them together at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in October 2022.

The age gap between the two—Billie was 20, and Jesse was 31 when they began dating—had stirred controversy, especially after their Halloween costumes received backlash. The couple dressed up as a baby and an old man, with Billie in a diaper and bonnet, while Rutherford wore a bald cap and prosthetics, which didn’t sit well with many fans.

Billie was defiant in response to the criticism, stating: “Sаy what you need to sаy, but, like, I am in control right now. I did this.” She had also previously shared that her love language is physical touch, emphasizing that skin contact is crucial for her, as well as having freedom and trust in a relationship.
