Billie Eilish Mаkes History as Youngеst Artist to Write and Pеrform a James Bond Thеme Song

Billie Eilish continues to soar in her career. Just 18 years old as of December, she’s already achieved the distinction of being the first artist born in the 2000s to claim a No. 1 album and the youngest artist ever to secure four Grammy nominations. Now, she adds another remarkable feat to her list: she’s become the youngest artist in history to both write and perform a James Bond theme song.

While specifics about the song remain undisclosed, it’s known that she collaborated on it with her older brother Finneas, who also contributed to Eilish’s debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”

“It feels surreal to be involved in this in every aspect,” Eilish remarked in a statement. “James Bond is the epitome of cool in the film world. I’m still processing it all.”

Previous Bond theme songs have enjoyed immense success. Adele’s “Skyfall,” featured in the film of the same namе, and Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall,” created for “Spectre,” both earned Oscars for Best Original Song.

“Skyfall” and “Spectre” are also the two most recent Bond films, meaning Eilish’s track has substantial expectations to meet.

Titled “No Time to Diе,” the upcoming Bond movie is slated for release in April and is anticipated to be Daniel Craig’s final portrayal of the iconic character.
