Billie Eilish Shares Fᴜnny Story of Paying $35 for Cereаl, Only to Find Out She’d Boᴜght 70 Boxes: ‘I Didn’t Know Thаt Wаs Expеnsive!’

Despite being a multi-millionaire at just 19, Billie Eilish is still figuring out the complexities of adult life, especially when it comes to spending money.

'I didn't know that that's expensive': Billie Eilish revealed she spent $35 for cereal during an interview with the March issue of Vanity Fair

The pop star shared a story about paying $35 for a box of cereal, only to later realize that it was much more expensive than she thought. The misunderstanding happened because she accidentally ordered 70 small boxes of Froot Loops, illustrating her lack of familiarity with costs. In an interview for the March issue of Vanity Fair, she admitted, “I don’t know what things cost because I’ve never been an adult before. And, you know, I grew up with no money.”

Her unfamiliarity with typical expenses stems from her upbringing without much money, highlighting the shift from her humble beginnings to her current financial status. Eilish explained that she was initially shocked by the price, thinking it was a standard cost for one box of cereal, not realizing she had purchased a bulk order.

In the interview, Billie also discusses other personal topics, including her body image issues and past experiences with body shaming. She recalled that she began wearing baggy clothes because of her struggles with her body image, and noted that she was glad that the body shaming occurred when she was in a better place emotionally. If it had happened a few years earlier, when she was dealing with more intense body image issues, it could have been much worse for her mеntal health.

In addition to her personal revelations, Billie has been politically active, encouraging fans to vote during the 2020 presidential election and expressing her dislike for former president Donаld Trᴜmp. She even lit fireworks to celebrate Joe Bidеn’s election victory.
