Billie Eilish and her mother Maggie Baird co-hosted a special climate activism event named Overheated in London on Wednesday evening.

The 21-year-old singer joined her 64-year-old parent on stage at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in White City to address the pressing issues surrounding the climate crisis.

Skater chic: Billie opted for her typical grungy style in a baggy T-shirt which she worn over a long-sleeved top with a pair of baggy trousers

 Billie maintained her signature grungy style, wearing a baggy T-shirt layered over a long-sleeved top paired with loose trousers, accessorized with a striped beanie and classic black Converse shoes.

The event, presented by Support + Feed, attracted climate activists, musicians, and influential figures for discussions, community building, and resources to combat climate change.

 Attendees enjoyed roller skating and a plant-based menu from Neat Burger. Hosted by the BBC’s Abbie McCarthy, the event featured a panel discussion with special guests including Earthrise CEO Alice Eady, fashion entrepreneur Samata Pattinson, and climate activists Dominique Palmer and Tori Tsui.

Limited to 500 tickets, fans were also able to watch the event on Billie’s YouTube channel. Last year, Billie hosted a similar event at London’s O2 Arena, featuring a screening of the Overheated documentary with appearances from Yungblud, Girl In Red, and Emily Eavis.

 In a recent Vogue interview, Billie expressed her dedication to climate activism, emphasizing the importance of taking action rather than merely talking about it. She highlighted the need for sustainable practices in fashion and her optimism for her generation’s ability to make a positive impact.

 Billie has been vocal about political issues, urging her followers to vote for Joe Bidеn and advocating for leaders who prioritize addressing climate change, CоVID-19, and systemic racism.
