Katy Perry Lеɑves Fans Awеstruck in Striƙing Chɑinmɑil Gown for ‘Amеrican Idol’ Bonus Episodе

This season of American Idol has been notable for singer-turned-judge Katy Perry, such as the touching moment she shared with a survivor of a school shooting. Recently, the 38-year-old took to Instagram to alert her followers about the special one-hour bonus episode of the singing competition that aired after the 95th Oscars. The “California Gurls” singer showcased the striking silver chainmail dress she donned for the episode.

Katy Perry Dons Chainmail Dress for Extra ‘American Idol’ Episode

The silver chainmail dress Katy wore was designed by Paco Rabanne, featuring a fitted bodice with a plunging V-neckline and a sheer asymmetrical skirt.

This ensemble bears a resemblance to the cowgirl-chic chainmail bodysuit Katy wore for an album party. Tatiana Waterford, the stylist who previously curated her look for Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month with a barely-there zebra miniskirt and thigh-high boots, was responsible for Katy’s style.

For the bonus American Idol episode, Katy, who has been likened to Simon Cowell for her “bully” behavior, added more shimmering details to her outfit with a pair of silver dangling earrings. She maintained her iconic black hair in loose waves past her shoulders, complementing her minimal makeup, which was done by makeup artist Michael Anthony and hairstylist Rick Henry.

Katy captioned her post, “It мay be Oscar Sunday, but don’t worry, there’s still a [little] taste of #idol tonight! Tune in after the awards show for a special 1-hour bonus ep (then see ya again at our usual place + time next week!).” Her 194 million Instagram followers showered praise on the chainмail dress, with comments like “Wow! Nice outfit!” and “Just fabulous мa’am.” The admiration extended to her hair and outfit, with comments like “Wow so gorgeous” and “Love your hair and outfit” accompanied by a fire emoji. Another commenter wrote, “So talented and beautiful,” a sentiment echoed by many.
